32-year-old Chinese millionaire Wang Yan began to get poorer after he decided to devote himself to charity.
In 2012, a man whose fortune exceeded a million dollars lost his beloved dog.
The loss of the animal influenced the Chinese so much that he decided to spend all the money on a dog shelter.
Wang was looking everywhere for his dog, but he could not find it. “I was advised to contact the representatives of the local animal slaughterhouse,” said the Chinese.
Having gone there, he still could not find his dog, but the observation of the mass murder of stray animals shocked the millionaire so much that he decided to open a shelter for stray dogs.
“I would not wish such a fate to anyone,” the man commented on what he saw at the slaughterhouse.
The man bought the building of the “bloody factory” and opened a shelter for dogs in its place.
At some point, the number of dogs living at Yan reached a thousand.
Most of them, however, managed to get into good hands. Now a little more than two hundred dogs live in the Chinese shelter.
A significant part of the Chinese money went to the maintenance of the shelter. Today he is practically bankrupt.
Nevertheless, the man does not give up.
“I do not accept donations. I really hope that people will appear who will help me warm up the shelter for the winter,” Yan said.
