A Delicious Meal

The day after the Jay Peak 25k Katie and I wanted something to eat that was comfort food. Something that said, “Sit back, relax, feel better.” So in place of a Recipe Sunday food post I wanted to offer a “Recovery Monday” food post.

The fare was: Homemade Chickpea Noodle Soup; Avocado rubbed Kale Salad with Oranges.

And for dessert: Baked Apple Crisp with Homemade Granola.

ImageIt was the simplest of meals but it fulfilled the goal of being comforting and helping our sore muscles recover.
