Living Deliberately Project – Week 7
This week in the Living Deliberately Project…
It was another pretty laid back week. The only purchase this week should have been another box-o-wine, which, let’s be honest, is great…it can last for awhile…or a couple days. The box was $14…but unfortunately we had to get some lunch-out before heading over to see family (why did we forget that we would have to eat some food before dinner? :-/). Luckily Jon had a buy-one-get-one at Chipotle, so we only spent $7. That leaves us with $37 for the rest of the month.
At the same time there were a number of purchases that we knew were coming and so not count towards the month expenditures:
Jon was finally able to purchase the AK Ultimate Direction Pack that he had ordered waaaayyyyy back in November. Apparently, the new Signature Series packs were like gold, and the first set of orders sold out within a few hours of becoming available. The order was put through a great local outdoor store, Outdoor Gear Exchange, and Jon went and picked in up this week. He should have a review up later this week.
Also, Katie went and picked up some new pants for work (which she was in desperate need of). She might have to pick up a few more in the next coming months, but for now she is ok. (Also, we might have to buy a new nonstick pan—ours has been getting progressively worse over the last few weeks, and it lead to a cuss-fest when Jon was making pumpkin pancakes for a snack. Needless to say, the pan won, leaving us with some rather sorry looking pancakes.)
That is it for this week. As you no doubt have noticed, we have been tweaking the look and layout of the blog so that it might fit with our minimalist mindset and aesthetic. We think that we have settle on a beautifully simple theme that captures a clean and straightforward look.
