Living Deliberately Project – Week 23
This week in the LDP saw the first week of June! What?! Already?! Well, so far it has not lived up to its reputation here in Vermont—most of the week saw chilly temperatures and rain, rain, rain. It will make the trails for this weekends Equinox 10k a bit mucky and treacherous. Good times, people.
As for our expenditures, Katie picked up some beer last Saturday (as I worked all day, it was a pleasant surprise to come home to a Switchback:-)). Then on Tuesday I picked up a 4 pack of Heady Topper (which, is listed as the #1 beer at Beer Advocate). It doesn’t get delivered this far north in Vermont, so I have to drive down to Burlington to pick some up—which can be tough because people queue up for it as soon as it gets delivered.
So, all told we spent $22 this week, leaving us with $58 for the rest of the month.
Next week is the end of the school year, and I think I can speak for Katie and thus direct you towards the following images:
Yup, summer vacation, and no one loves it more than the teachers. So here is to my awesome wife, and to all the bs she has to endure during the year. In actuality, her kids were great this year, and I know she will miss them—but that doesn’t mean she wants to be with them any longer than she has to.
