Living Deliberately Project – Week 29
This week in the LDP…
we found ourselves having not spent any money, so we decided to help fund a pretty neat Kickstarter project:
They are trying to get a cookbook made, and by the time we added our $15 contribution they were WAY over their goal, which is great. So now we are just waiting until November to receive our ebook and other goodies. Super stoked! This leaves us with $33 for the rest of July.
Aside from that, this week has been quite long as I had to work from Sunday of last week until Thursday of this week. That was due to the fact that we were going to head to Rochester for the weekend so that I could run the 0SPF Trail Half Marathon and Katie could help volunteer (and be a photographer). We are there Friday through Sunday so I am writing this a bit ahead of time to get it out there. It will be a great time—running a fun race put on by friends; seeing family; hanging out…all great things…just wish it were a longer getaway.
How much to you love family reunions? Ok, maybe not as much as us…anywho, one other purchase we had to make this week was some apparel for the family reunion pictures. We have to look snazzy right? Kinda like these?
Ok, perhaps we should aim higher…
Well, that about does it for this week. Pretty successful on the spending front; it is always great to help others in need, and the guys at The Vegan Zombie do some pretty fun and interesting stuff.
We hope that you all have a nice weekend. If it is a crazy hot as it is here enjoy the outside, or a pool or lake.
Have a drink. Meet some friends. Enjoy the outdoors.
