Living Deliberately Project – Week 41 & 42
This week in the LDP…(actually these weeks, since we didn’t get a chance to write last weeks post)…
We have been a bit neglectful. Ok, not neglectful. Some other adjective. Well, last weekend when we were supposed to write the Week 41 post we spent the whole day out with family. Breakfast at Magnolia Bistro in Burlington
then we walked around Shelburne Farms which is an 1400 acre farm estate
then we drove up to and through Smugglers Notch
and finally we had dinner at Twiggs in Saint Albans.
A very busy day, which meant no time for posting.
That previous week we spent $20.
Then, this past week we traveled over to Plattsburgh on Katie’s day off to run into Target for some flannel sheets (apparently sheet gnomes stole our flat sheet), and when we went to Panera Bread for some lunch there wasn’t any soup on that we could have; I’m not enamored with their sandwiches, so we looked around and found a great Indian restaurant. For the same price as Panera we got two lunch dishes and a large order of Naan! It was scrumptious.
Lunch was about $20 then we picked up a sixer later ($7). That leaves us with $19 for the remainder of the month.
And that is it. This week is my birthday week, and I used some of the money from my parents to purchase two bottles of 14th Star Brewery’s “Year One” beer, brewed in celebration of their one year anniversary. As so as I get a chance to try it I will write up a review.
Hope you all enjoy your week. Here in Vermont the leaves are beyond peak and we are moving into “stick season.” It can be beautiful all the same, so time spent on the trails will be lots of enjoyable all the same.
