While Mauricio Camareno and his friends were windsurfing, they found some rare creature that appears to have emerged from the water.

As soon as they approached him, they heard the sounds made by the animal.

These sounds made it clear that the animal was crying.

It was a whale cub, which was in a very bad condition. The strong wave prevented him from moving.

The animal was visibly emaciated and very frightened.

Mauricio was interviewed for the magazine, in which he said:

“The animal was so weak that it could barely swim!”

Wasting no time, the men took the initiative and did everything possible to save the whale.

The first step they took was to move the animal to a place where the water was deep enough.

The whale was so weak that the men had to carry him in their arms to keep him from drowning.

When the animal cried, they tried their best to calm it down.

For more than six hours they supported the animal in order to give it the opportunity to renew its strength and swim on its own.

After some time, the whale cub began to feel better and was able to swim again without assistance.

We do not know what happened to his mother, nor do we know if he found her again when he was able to swim on the high seas.

But what we know for sure is that he did not die alone and abandoned on some unknown beach, thanks to Mauricio and his friends, who had the curiosity enough to find out where the strange sound came from, and did everything they had to do to help a whale cub in trouble.

We declare once again: they are real heroes.
