«Frasier» star Kelsey Grammer says he «won’t apologise» for his faith. His bond with Jesus Christ, he claims, has helped him through «tragic times» in his life.
Grammer will not apologise for being a Christian.
«I’ve been ill.»
I’ve been through some difficult moments.
«I’ve struggled with them and figured out how to deal with them,» Grammer, 68, told USA Today.
«Sometimes rejecting faith, and sometimes even rejecting God, when I’m pretty angry about it,» he admitted. «It’s like, ‘Where were you?'» That sort of thing.
But I’ve accepted it and found great comfort in my religion and in Jesus. When I claim that Jesus altered my life, it’s not a joke. I’m not going to apologise for that.»
According to the Daily Mail, Grammer is now promoting his new faith-based comedy-drama film, Jesus Revolution. He plays preacher Chuck Smith in this film, who helped spread Christianity across the United States in the 1960s and 1970s.
«It makes me happy. He thought the film was good.My wife and I both noticed it. She broke down in tears and told him, «It’s the best thing you’ve ever done.»
The Jesus Revolution has gained a lot of traction.
According to the story synopsis, «in the 1970s, Greg Laurie and a large group of young people move to sunny Southern California to try to change what truth is by any means necessary.»
«By chance, Laurie meets a charismatic street preacher and a pastor who welcomes a large number of lost youth into a church,» it continues.
«What happens is the biggest spiritual awakening in American history, which starts as a counterculture movement.»

Analysts predicted that Jesus Revolution would only make $6 to $7 million in its debut weekend, but it made $15 million.
This demonstrates that, contrary to popular belief, moviegoers demand faith-based films more than ever.

«He’s kind of a Bible guy,» Grammer explains.
Grammer has previously stated that playing Pastor Smith came naturally to him.
«It seems to me that I’ve probably been preparing for [this role] my entire life,» Grammer told Fox News.
«Becoming Chuck wasn’t too difficult a transition.»
«I’m a Bible kind of guy,» he admitted. «I’ve spent my entire life reading the Bible. I’ve always used it to pray, think, and learn new things.
I’ve had access to it since I was a boy. So I have a relationship with the Bible, often known as «the Word of God,» that is probably about as old as I am.
Grammer told the Sydney Morning Herald in 2021 about how he maintained his Christian faith even when things were difficult in his life.
«Just because you have doubts, it doesn’t mean you don’t have faith,» he explained.
«It’s critical to express your reservations.
God, or whatever you want to call It, Him, or Her, will usually find a way to thank you for raising your concerns. «Don’t be afraid» is a well-known Bible statement that means something really remarkable.
Grammer is one of Hollywood’s few performers who is upfront about his or her deep Christian faith. We believe it’s fantastic that he’s leveraging his celebrity to spread the message.
