The ‘Deadpool 3’ trailer is dropping during the Super Bowl

There’s only a handful of 2024 films with a fighting chance to cross the billion dollar mark at the worldwide box-office — maybe “Joker: Folie a Deux,” “Dune: Part Two,” “Despicable Me 4” and this one …

It now looks as thought the first trailer for Shawn Levy’s “Deadpool 3” will reportedly be shown during the Super Bowl on February 11th. It makes sense. The film has had some raging buzz these last few months, with countless on-set leaks, rumored cameos and Ryan Reynolds kickstarting the hype at awards shows.

The first two ‘Deadpool’ movies each grossed around $780 million worldwide. The franchise has only grown in popularity on home media and the notion that this third one could cross the billion dollar mark is not a stretch — it’s also set to become the first R-rated instalment of the MCU.

“Deadpool 3”, starring Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, is set for theatrical release on July 26, 2024. This past summer’s actors and writers strikes delayed so many productions that “Deadpool 3” could very well end up becoming the highest grossing film of 2024.
