Emma Stone and Willem Dafoe discuss possible return to Spider-Man Universe

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight at the 35th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala, Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe and Mark Ruffalo talk about their latest film Poor Things.

Stone was honoured with the Desert Palm Achievement Award for her role as Bella Baxter in Poor Things.

The three discuss their great time on set, causing trouble and having a laugh. Stone even refers to Ruffalo and Dafoe on set as a “couple pranksters”.

After discussing the showing of a film real of Stone’s work, she is asked if she would ever revisit her character of Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man Franchise.

The speculation around a third Amazing Spider-Man film was heavily discussed after Andrew Garfield’s reappearance as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Stone comments simply with “I don’t know, that’s a challenging one.”

It would be interesting to see how exactly Gwen Stacy would return to Garfield’s Spider-Man franchise considering her fate in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Dafoe, also reprising his role of Green Goblin in Spider-Man: No Way Home, seemed to like the idea of returning once again as he nodded his head.
