Charlie Cox’s next appearance as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to be in Echo, however, it’s already being rumoured as to when fans may potentially get to see his Man without Fear next.

Since Cox’s debut as Matt Murdock in the MCU during the events of the Tom Holland-led Spider-Man: No Way Home blockbuster smasher, fans have long hoped that both his Daredevil and Spider-Man would one day meet up.
In the movie, No Way Home, Cox only appears briefly as Matt Murdock alongside Holland who is only shown as Peter Parker – both of whom share a scene but neither are seen wearing their suits together.

Cox’s suited-up Daredevil never made an official MCU debut until his appearance in She-Hulk.

Although there have been no official announcements as of writing, it’s already been heavily rumoured as to whether or not fans will get to see their favourite live-action Daredevil fight crime alongside MCU’s webslinger.
According to a report from industry tipster Daniel RPK, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is set to finally suit up as Daredevil in an official Spider-Man project, Tom Holland’s currently untitled Spider-Man 4.

Although this has yet to be confirmed by the cast and crew of the sequel, it’s highly likely that this is the case and is the true meaning behind Cox’s very brief cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home – other than to introduce him as loudly as possible.

Even during the actor’s days as Daredevil during its run on Netflix, Cox has on many occasions shared his hopes for his Daredevil to team up with a Spider-Man one day – something that has yet to technically be fulfilled.
Kingpin is the one true villain who consistently lands himself on both Daredevil and Spider-Man’s radar, mostly due to the two street-fighting heroes being so protective over the same areas of New York City.

Not only would this team-up against Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin be incredible service to the fans, but it would also play directly into the original comics over at Marvel – so it’s a clear win-win for everyone involved.

Cox is also set to star as both Matt Murdock and Daredevil in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series, Marvel Studios’ first official Daredevil-focused project since his days over on Netflix.
