Sony’s Spider-Man Universe and Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man franchises are reportedly set to crossover once again but at a much larger scale, with details of Tom Holland’s Peter Parker connecting to various SSU projects in an upcoming movie.

According to the popular online industry tipster known as Daniel RPK, Holland’s Spider-Man 4 over at Marvel Studios is set to have connections to various Sony Spider-Verse movies.

Sony’s Spider-Man Universe includes titles such as Jared Leto’s Morbius, Tom Hardy’s Venom movies, Dakota Johnson’s upcoming Madame Web movie, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s upcoming Kraven the Hunter origin movie.

In the Daniel RPK report, it’s said that Holland’s Spider-Man 4 will have connections to Sony’s Spider-Man Universe movies, as aforementioned, heavily implying that the Spider-Verse is set to expand further than ever before.

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, among various classic live-action Sony Spidey villains, made their official MCU debut due to a multiverse storyline in Holland’s third official Spider-Man movie, No Way Home.

Although the events of No Way Home may have felt like closure for some fans, for others it just felt like the beginning of something much larger – such as plans to continue these crossovers between Sony’s Spidey flicks and Marvel Studios.

There’s also the highly praised animated Spider-Man: Into, Across, and Beyond the Spider-Verse movies that focus on Shameik Moore’s animated Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld’s animated Gwen Stacy, and various other characters from multiple Spider-Man universes.

Donald Glover’s live-action Aaron Davis from the Marvel Cinematic Universe also made a brief appearance in the animated Across the Spider-Verse, but as his live-action variant, which heavily implied that an animated/live-action Spider-Verse crossover is on the table over at Sony.

It should be noted that Tom Hardy’s upcoming Venom 3 movie has been widely rumoured to be connected to Holland’s Spider-Man, with rumours even suggesting that Holland will make an appearance in the movie.

Hardy’s Eddie Brock aka Venom also made an appearance during the final moments of Holland’s MCU movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, where he can be seen travelling to the MCU for a drink at a bar due to a spell gone wrong by Doctor Strange.

It’s later shown that Hardy’s character is sent back to what we can only assume to be his original universe once Doctor Strange and Holland’s Spider-Man figure out a way to somewhat reverse the effects of their spell.

However, it’s implied that their mess may have caused a bit more of an issue amongst the Spider-Verse’s Spider-Society as Spider-Man 2099 frustratingly references it during the events of Across the Spider-Verse.

So for all we know, the events that went down during No Way Home may have just made the overall Spider-Verse issue much worse for everyone – and better for fans who are dying to see all these characters team up.
