Lewis Pullman is reportedly being eyed to replace Steven Yeun as MCU’s Sentry

After Steven Yeun’s departure from Marvel’s Thunderbolts due to scheduling conflicts, fans have been wondering who might replace him in the film.

While Marvel did not disclose what role Steven Yeun was intended to play in the MCU movie.

The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman recently revealed that Steven Yeun was set to play Sentry (Robert Reynolds in the comics) in Thunderbolts.

With Yeun dropping out of the project, Marvel Studios has been looking for a replacement actor for the role of Sentry in the film.

Now a new report suggests that Top Gun: Maverick and Lessons in Chemistry star Lewis Pullman might take over the role of Sentry in Thunderbolts.

According to insider Daniel Richtman, Marvel Studios is seriously considering Lewis Pullman to replace Steven Yeun in the MCU film.

It is currently unclear whether they are close to making an official deal as it has yet to be confirmed.

Thunderbolts is the first supervillain team-up for Marvel and is set to be the second film in MCU Phase 6.

While the plot details are tightly under wraps, the Thunderbolts are a team of supervillains recruited by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine to undertake missions for the CIA and the U.S. government.

Cast for Marvel’s Thunderbolts includes Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, and Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov/Taskmaster.

David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Harrison Ford as President Thaddeus Ross, Lewis Pullman(To-be-confirmed) as Robert Reynolds/Sentry.
