Brad Pitt to star in Quentin Tarantino’s final film ‘The Movie Critic’

Brad Pitt is set to star in Quentin Tarantino’s 10th film The Movie Critic.

According to Deadline, the Inglourious Basterds star is teaming up again with Quentin Tarantino for his 10th and supposedly final film The Movie Critic.

This marks the third collaboration between Brad Pitt and Tarantino. He previously won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood.

Brad Pitt has also starred in the 2009 war film Inglourious Basterds by Quentin Tarantino.

Tarantino’s final film will be produced by Stacey Sher and distributed by Sony Pictures.

The Movie Critic is set in 1977 California and revolves around a critic who writes movie reviews for a porno rag called The Popstar Pages.

Tarantino has described the hero of the film as “a guy who really lived but was never really famous, and he used to write movie reviews for a porno rag […]“

He continued: “He was as cynical as hell. His reviews were a cross between early Howard Stern and what Travis Bickle might be if he were a film critic.”

While no other official casting has been confirmed, rumoured actors potentially joining the film’s cast including Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Paul Walter Hauser, and John Travolta.
