The Super Bowl, the biggest American sporting event of the year, has become more than just a football game. It’s evolved into a cultural phenomenon, attracting massive audiences and high advertising fees.
With millions glued to their screens, studios see it as the perfect platform to unveil their highly anticipated movie trailers, turning the Super Bowl into a de facto movie trailer showcase.
This year, studios will unveil new looks at several blockbusters, such as Inside Out 2, Deadpool 3, A Quiet Place: Day One, Wicked, and more.

10 – Deadpool 3
Our first look at Deadpool 3 will be released during the Super Bowl, less than 6 months before its July release.
The film follows Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) reuniting with Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) to irreversibly change the course of the MCU.
Other returning cast members include Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
Deadpool 3 is set to release in theatres on July 26, 2024.
9 – IF
Directed by John Krasinski, IF follows a young girl and her neighbour who find themselves able to see imaginary friends.
It stars Ryan Reynolds, John Krasinski, Cailey Fleming, Fiona Shaw, Bobby Moynihan, Alan Kim, and Liza Colón-Zayas.
The big game tease for the movie features a fun callback to Randall Park playing John Krasinski in The Office, and has the actor edited-in in much of the behind-the-scenes footage.

8 – Inside Out 2
A sequel to the hit animated film Inside Out, Inside Out 2 returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as new emotions arise.
The original voice cast, including Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Lewis Black, Bill Hader, and Mindy Kaling, are all returning to reprise their roles.
Additionally, some exciting new voices are joining the cast, including Tony Hale as Fear and Peter Sargsgaard as Anxiety.

7 – Bob Marley: One Love
Bob Marley: One Love, directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, will feature a spot at the Super Bowl just says before its release.
The biopic explores the life and career of reggae legend Bob Marley, from his humble beginnings in Jamaica to his rise to global superstardom, highlighting his music, message of peace and unity, and struggles with fame, politics, and illness.
It stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Bob Marley, Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley, and James Norton as Chris Blackwell.

6 – Twisters
A first look at Twisters will air and be released online during the Super Bowl.
While Bill Paxton’s iconic Bill “the Extreme” twister chaser and Helen Hunt’s storm researcher Jo Harding won’t be returning, the story focuses on a fresh generation facing the fury of nature.
Cast members of the movie include Brandon Perea, Daryl McCormack, Maura Tierney, Harry Hadden-Paton, Sasha Lane, Kiernan Shipka, Nik Dodani, David Corenswet, Tunde Adebimpe, and Katy O’Brian.
Twisters is scheduled to be released in theatres on July 19, 2024.
5 – Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
A new trailer for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is expected to premiere at the Super Bowl.
The film takes place several generations after Caesar’s reign, when ape civilization has flourished and humans are living in the shadows.
A new ape leader, the ruthless and ambitious Darius, threatens this fragile peace with his expansionist plans.

4 – The Fall Guy
Another Ryan Reynolds movie, The Fall Guy, will air a spot during the course of the Super Bowl.
Directed by David Leitch, the film stars Ryan Gosling as Colt Seavers, a veteran stuntman, and Emily Blunt as Jody Moreno, his ex-girlfriend turned film director. The synopsis of the movie states:
After taking a break to heal from injuries and personal struggles, Colt is pulled back into the action when a movie star mysteriously disappears. To save the production and win back Jody’s trust, he must navigate a web of conspiracies, dangerous stunts, and even rekindle their old flame.

3 – Wicked: Part One
Directed by Jon M. Chu, known for his work on films like Crazy Rich Asians and In the Heights, the first trailer for Wicked: Part One will premiere during the Super Bowl.
The screenplay is written by Winnie Holzman, who also wrote the book for the original musical. It stars Ariana Grande as Glinda and Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba.
The adaptation is a two-part event, with the sequel scheduled to release on November 26, 2025.
Wicked: Part One will be released in theatres on November 27, 2024.
2 – A Quiet Place: Day One
Another movie involving John Krasinski, A Quiet Place: Day One serves as a prequel to the A Quiet Place film series.
While the original films focused on the Abbott family’s struggle for survival after the arrival of the sound-sensitive creatures, Day One takes us back to the very beginning.
The cast of the movie includes Lupita Nyong’o as Sam, Joseph Quinn as Eric, Djimon Hounsou as the Man on the Island, Alex Wolff, and Eliane Umuhire.

1 – Kung Fu Panda 4
A new look at Kung Fu Panda 4 will be unveiled at the Super Bowl.
Jack Black returns as the voice of Po, bringing his signature charm and humour to the character.
James Hong, Seth Rogen, Lucy Liu, and Dustin Hoffman also reprise their roles, along with new additions like Awkwafina and Michelle Yeoh.
Kung Fu Panda 4 is set to release in theatres on March 8, 2024.
