Oscar Isaac teases where he wants to see Moon Knight next in the MCU

Moon Knight only quite recently became a member of the Midnight Sons. The team, including characters like Ghost Rider, Blade, and Doctor Strange, first formed as part of the “Rise of the Midnight Sons” story arc.

While at the Middle East Film and Comic Con event in Abu Dhabi, Oscar Isaac teased where he wants to see Marc Spector next in the MCU.

When inquired about his desired role for his MCU character in the larger universe, Isaac shared his optimism for potential involvement in Midnight Suns, expressing his desire to have the hero be a member of a team.

“I thought there was an interesting opportunity with Midnight Suns. There’s such interesting characters in there, and now that we’ve set the groundwork with learning who Marc, Steven, Jake are, it could be an interesting opportunity to see him as part of a team and what that dynamic would be,” Isaac said.

He hoped that there’d be some room in the MCU‘s supernatural quadrant to explore the Midnight Suns:

“So I think that would be exciting, I think for me, I definitely hope there’s some room to explore that possibility.”

At the moment, there is little evidence to suggest that there will be a second season for Moon Knight. This makes it impossible to determine when or where the Midnight Suns will come together within the Marvel Studios universe.

Moon Knight would be a perfect fit for the Midnight Sons in the MCU.

He has a personal connection to Khonshu, who is one of the oldest and most powerful deities in Marvel lore.

Khonshu has often clashed with other gods and entities, such as Set, Chthon, and Nightmare. Moon Knight could serve as Khonshu’s representative in the Midnight Sons and help them deal with threats.

A potential Midnight Suns lineup in the MCU could feature Blade, Doctor Strange, Elsa Bloodstone, Moon Knight, Jack Russell, and Black Knight. Morbius as well, fingers crossed.
